So here goes, with another musical feast for you. Still buzzing from the Rod Stewart concert a couple of weeks back we set off for the big smoke, this time getting back to my real Country roots, the artist of choice being Rascal Flatts performing to a sold out audience at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire
We've waited a long time to see these guys perform in the UK and it was well worth every minute. Opening support acts Jill Johnson and Laura Bell Bundy set us off to a good start, with the latter getting members of the audience on stage to line dance.
Then it was time for the boys themselves to take to the stage and they certainly didn't disappoint. The room was rocking as they sang their way through their back catalogue of hits, throwing in one or two tracks from their latest album Changed for good measure. I just love how the audience sings along to every song, God Bless The Broken Road, My Wish, Life is a Highway, Stand, Changed and Fast Cars and Freedom, and of course Summer Nights. Fabulous night from start to finish :)
Fingers crossed it won't be too long before they come back............are you watching Country 2 Country?
